Fees & Funding Information
Admission & Deposit
Children are admitted from the age of 2 years old from the waiting list when vacancies become available. We have an admissions policy in place which is strictly adhered to.
Once your child has been offered a position at the playgroup the necessary registration forms are sent to you and a deposit of £50.00 is required to secure your child’s place. The deposit is fully refundable when your child leaves to go to school.
Fees, Funding & Term Dates.
Fees for children who are not old enough to receive funding: The current fees are £13.50 per 3hour 15 min session.
Fees for children the term after they are 3 years old: The current fees are £12.50 per 3 hour 15 min session with an extra charge of £3.80 for each lunch club your child attends.
If you choose to use your free entitlement grant in our setting then the fees will be reduced accordingly. The grant covers 38 weeks per academic year but only for 2½ hours per day. Our playgroup operates for the full 38 weeks per year at 3 hours 15 minutes per day (4 hours on lunch club days)
Invoices are distributed half-termly in advance and payment is required within the first week of each half term. We regret that refunds or credits cannot be made for holidays or sickness absences.
The local schools are open for approximately 39 weeks per year therefore there are some minor differences between our term dates and the schooling term dates. A list of the playgroup term dates will be issued in advance of each academic year.
Further funding information can be found in the information leaflet titled ‘Free Entitlement (Early Years Provision), A Guide for Parents and Carers’ which is produced by West Sussex County Council’s Children’s Information Service. |
